Once more the beautiful and historical town of Ma'arat Saydnaya is hosting the competitors and guests to the Syrian Rally 2007, with its new ideal special stages and compact distances; the (Syrian automobile club) is pleased to announce that this years Rally will be one of the most enjoyable Rallies in the Middle East.
The Rally will start from Abu Roumaneh in the heart of modern Damascus, adding more popularity to the event with many motor sport fans welcoming the ME Champions.
A new service area in an ideal location at the centre of the Rally stages in Deir Attiah, with a spacious size allowing an excellent working area for technical teams, and close access to all stages.
This years Rally will be all Syrian, with a 100% Syrian organizing staff for the first time.
H.E. the Minister of Tourism Dr. Saadallah Agha Alkala'a will raise the start flag on Thursday 7th of June to start the 5th round of the MERC 2007 for 13special stages, that will mostly define this year champion.
Most modern tracking equipment, communications network, ideal press office, and medical and safety centers, in addition to the hospitable (rally village) Ma'aret Saydnaya Sheraton hotel headed by Mr. Antoin Abo the General Manager.
We are sure that the sleepless nights by the organizing committee and staff will offer all our dear guests and competitors a memorable event.
